ASM-VoFDehaze: a real-time defogging method of zinc froth image

When the ambient temperature is low, a large amount of water mist and dust will inevitably appear around zinc flotation cell, forming haze, which seriously affects extraction froth image features. General defogging methods natural are difficult to obtain satisfactory results for such industrial haze image. Therefore, we propose real-time method based on ASM-VoFD (Atmospheric Scattering Model Variable-order Fractional Differential). First, dark pixel ratio used detect fog in image, solves redundant calculation caused by unnecessary operations. Second, linear transformation atmospheric scattering model calculate initial transmission map, gaussian filter optimize transmittance, haze-free restored with light estimation. Finally, variable order fractional differential operator enhance edges texture details problems blurred low contrast. The experiments show that algorithm has good effect images, can be effectively implemented O(N) time meet application requirements monitoring.
